2010 Race for the Cure

It’s an exciting time to be a Seminole. Many changes are taking place in Tallahassee…not only on the football field, but also in welcoming our new President, Eric Barron. The Triangle Seminole Club wants to be a part of these changes. We’d love to take part more often in contributing to our community. We need people like you to make that happen!

The Triangle Seminole Club has assembled a race team for the 2010 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure to join the fight against breast cancer.

The race will be Saturday, June 12 on the campus of Meredith College in Raleigh, near the RBC center. (More information here: http://www.komennctriangle.org/komen-race-for-the-cure/race-information/)

Registration for our team is open to everyone. You don’t have to be a club member or even a Seminole to participate. Follow this link to register:

If you can’t be there with us on race day, we are thrilled to accept your donation in whatever amount you are able to offer.

Spread the word to your friends and family. Bring the kids. Walk, run, or compete. The option is yours! Races of all lengths and skill levels will be held. Each participant can choose which race they want to join – we don’t all have to run the in same event to make a difference.

6:00 a.m. – Registration/Packet Pickup Opens

6:45 a.m. – Survivor Breakfast Begins

7:00 a.m. – Competitive Open 5K (co-ed)

7:15 a.m. – Survivor Photo

7:45 a.m. – Women’s Only – Jeanne’s Race 5K Run/Walk

8:45 a.m. – Recreational Open 5K Run/Walk (co-ed)

9:30 a.m. – One-Mile Fun Run/Walk (co-ed)

10:00 a.m. – Kids Dash for the Cure (ages 3-5)

10:30 a.m. – Survivor Tribute
